Construction Workers Hold Protest Demonstration in Jammu

CONSTRUCTION workers working in organised and unorganised sectors held a protest demonstration on August 2, at the office of the CEO/secretary of BOCW Welfare Board Jammu. They strongly denounced the management of the welfare board for its casual approach to providing social security benefits to beneficiaries of schemes framed under J&K BOCW(RE&CS) Rules 2006. A large number of construction workers participated in the demonstration with placards in their hands.

Anganwadi Adhikar Mahapadav Calls for Jawab Maango Campaign

DEFYING the rains and adverse weather conditions, more than eight thousand anganwadi workers and helpers from Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Jammu & Kashmir, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and West Bengal sat on ‘Anganwadi Adhikar Mahapadav’ dharna that was organised by the All India Federation of Anganwadi Workers and Helpers (AIFAWH), for three continuous days from July 26-28 at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi.

Chatterjee, former education minister has been arrested by the ED in school teacher recruitment scam involving hundreds of crores of rupees. IN Jaipur, on July 24, 2022, a state-level convention against the politics of communal polarisation and anti-people policies was held in the auditorium of Indira Gandhi Panchayati Raj Sansthan at Jawaharlal Nehru Marg, Jaipur.

AIFAWH Holds Huge Anganwadi Adhikar Mahapadav

AT the call of the All India Federation of Anganwadi Workers and Helpers (AIFAWH), thousands of Anganwadi workers and helpers participated in the ‘Anganwadi Adhikar Mahapadav’ that began in New Delhi on July 26. The four-day long mahapadav will conclude on July 29 with a pledge to intensify the struggles further. More than seven thousand Anganwadi workers and helpers joined the mahapadav on its first day with a resolve to fight against anti-worker, anti-people, anti-scheme workers policies of the ruling dispensation.

LEFT, secular and democratic parties in Karnataka held a state-level convention in Bengaluru for a harmonious, prosperous people's Karnataka. The convention was held on July 16, 2022, in Ambedkar Bhavan. In this convention, more than one thousand activists and cadres of CPI(M), CPI, SUCI(C), CPIML( Liberation), Forward Block, RPI and Swaraj India participated.
