The killing of innocent minorities, to foment communal hatred and division, has repeatedly been taking place in the country, more so in Rajasthan, since BJP came to power at the centre.

Give the Declared Compensation to Junaid’s Family

IN a letter written by CPI(M) Polit Bureau member Brinda Karat to Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar on December 5, 2017, she brought the issue of non-payment of compensation announced by him to the next of kin of Junaid, to his notice.
Junaid, son of Jalaladuddin, resident of Khatauli village, Faridabad, Haryana, was brutally stabbed to death by a communally motivated group, on June 22, 2017.

AILU Demands Judicial Enquiry into Death of Judge Loya

THE report of the Caravan magazine about the death of CBI Judge Brijgopal Loya in December 2014 under suspicious circumstances requires judicial enquiry, said the All India Lawyers Union in a statement issued on November 26.

The report, if found true, casts a serious aspersion on the Rule of Law. Enquiry into the facts disclosed in the interviews of the family members of the deceased judge, is necessary to assure the judges who conduct high profile cases involving powerful political leaders.

Denounce Ordinance Raj

CPI(M)  Polit Bureau has issued the following statement on November 23.

THE Polit Bureau of the CPI(M) registers its strong objection to the increasing recourse to the route of ordinance raj that this BJP-led central government has been resorting to.

It is reported that an ordinance would be issued to amend the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Act.
