Delhi: Ruthless RSS-BJP Attack on Jehangirpuri Civilians

THE caretaker North Delhi Municipal Corporation has tried to implement the directive of the state BJP president Adesh Gupta that those who resisted the rioting attempt of the VHP-Bajrang Dal ‘had built illegal constructions’ in the area and they should be razed. The NDMC paced itself in the most ruthless manner by not even serving notices towards razing the unauthorised livelihood of the poorest of the poor in the locality.

A seminar was organized on " Kashmir Files and Communalism" at Chennai on 12.4.22 at Sir P.T. Thyagaraja hall , T Nagar, Chennai 17, on behalf of the Tamilnadu Platform for People's Unity.While speaking in the seminar   Mr. YousufTarigami  asked  the BJP union Government 'what did they achieve after dividing the Jammu and Kashmir into two. 23rd State Conference of Tamil Nadu CPI(M)

THE 23rd state conference of Tamil Nadu CPI(M) was held in Madurai from March 30 to April 1. A day before the conference on March 29, an exhibition depicting the history of the communist movement was inaugurated by M A Baby, Polit Bureau Member of the Party. Comrade Mythili Sivaraman was the name of the venue for the exhibition.While inaugurating the exhibition, M A Baby said that the idea of equality existed in every era of human history. In India, when we think about the struggles for equality, many will recall places like Bengal and Andhra.

Tripura: Budget Session: Utterly Failed to Meet People’s Aspirations

ON March 17, the fifth budget of the BJP_IPFT coalition government was placed in the assembly by the finance minister. The total budget proposal is Rs 26,892.67 crore with a deficit of Rs 569.52 crore. Eyeing on the assembly elections in February 2023 there was no proposal for new taxes.The much tom-tommed campaign of implementing the recommendations of the 7th Pay Commission was also missing in the budget speech.

Bihar: CPI(M) Will Fight Against Evictions

ON March 21, a big meeting under the banner of the CPI(M) Madhepura district committee was held at Rajni village where landless people have been living for the last 50 years on 300 acres of land. Patna High Court has also given its verdict in favour of these landless people. But a new claimant has arrived on the scene and with the active connivance of the local police, he along with his goons are threatening the people with dire consequences. But the residents are equally determined to save their land with red flags in their hands.

Delhi State Conference of AIDWA

THE 14th AIDWA-Delhi state conference held between March 12-13, 2022, concluded successfully at Delhi’s Harkishan Singh Surjeet Bhawan with 128 delegates participating from across Delhi NCR. The conference discussed and reviewed three years of work and the state of the organisation and the accounts of the organisation, after the general secretary placed the conference report.

J&K State Conference of CPI(M)

THE 12th Jammu and Kashmir state conference of the CPI (M) was held at Hotel Lalarukh in historic Lal Chowk of Srinagar on March 23. The conference in which 236 delegates, observers participated started at 11 am with resounding slogans of socialism, revolution and CPI(M) zindabad. The red flag was hoisted by veteran comrade Gh Qadir Hafroo.
