AP: Fulfill the Promises Made to the People

A ROUND table meeting organised at the initiative of CPI(M) Andhra Pradesh state committee demanded the BJP-led central government to fulfill the promises made to the state and to implement the State Re-organisation Act.The meeting was chaired by P Madhu, a former member of parliament who appealed the ruling YSRCP and the main opposition TDP to decide whether they would fight for the state interests or would continue to follow the dictates of the BJP. If they continue to go along with the BJP, they have to face the ire of people, speakers warned.

MP: AIKS Holds its State Conference

THE AIKS Madhya Pradesh state conference was held at Rayru village in Gwalior district from September 23-25, 2022. It was attended by 198 delegates from 15 districts. They included several adivasi, dalit, women and youth peasants. The average age of the delegation was 50 years, which reflects activities in kisan andolan and its consolidation. It was an enthusiastic and fruitful conference. It was inaugurated by AIKS vice president Amra Ram, who outlined the challenges before the peasantry today, and the disastrous policies of the BJP-led central government which must be fought.

AP: AIDWA Conference Flags Declining Security for Women

STEEP price rise and the declining security for women in the country have become the toughest challenges for Indian women, concluded the AIDWA state conference held at Dr Seshareddy Vignana Kendram in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh from September 24- 26.About 300 delegates representing two lakh members attended the conference which kickstarted with an impressive rally on the first day.

No Imposition of Hindi

COMRADE Kodiyeri Balakrishnan is no more with us.  After a long battle with cancer, he died in a hospital in Chennai.  In the last three years since he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, he showed indomitable will in continuing to work while undergoing bouts of chemotherapy.
