AIKS ROLE IN FARMERS’ STRUGGLETHE AIKS has been an important constituent of the AIKSCC and the SKM ever since their inception. In this capacity, it played a major role in the collective decision making and implementation of the just-concluded farmers’ struggle. Whenever contentious issues came up, the AIKS always took a principled stand on them, for strengthening the unity of the SKM.Within the SKM, the AIKS also took the initiative to strengthen worker-peasant unity and the unity of farmers with other sections of the people.

THE 7th state conference of CPI(M) Uttarakhand concluded with a strong party building, mass movement and a resolve to ensure the defeat of communal forces in the state.RALLY AND OPEN SESSIONThe conference was held from December 24-26, 2021 at Comrade Virendra Bhandari Nagar and Comrade Satyaprakash Manch, Jain Dharamshala, Dehradun.

ON December 24, Agartala, the capital city of Tripura, witnessed a web of red flags elevated high by thousands of kisans to celebrate victory of the year-long kisan struggle in the country and to press for the urgent issues that the peasantry of the state has been striving hard to settle. There is no alternative to a sustained united struggle to overthrow the anti-peasant, anti-worker RSS-BJP government that has been foisted on the people of Tripura through hoax promises.

The 7th Chhattisgarh state conference of the CPI(M) was held on December 21-22, 2021 in Korba.  The conference started with flag hoisting by Gajendra Jha and garlanding and wreath-laying on the martyr column by the delegates.

THE unprecedented farmers’ struggle that began at the borders of India’s capital Delhi on November 26, 2020, and which won a historic victory over the reactionary forces of corporate communalism and also imperialism a full one year and fifteen days later on December 11, 2021, has been by far the largest, the longest and the most powerful nationwide farmers’ struggle in the history of India, and also in the world.
