Meet the Urgent Demands of the People

The Polit Bureau of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) has issued the following statement on June 17, 2020

THE Polit Bureau of the CPI(M) congratulates all its Party units, members and supporters who have participated in a big way in all parts of the country on the protest day on June 16.  The good response to the call shows that the demands raised of the central government are the urgent need of the people.

De-Escalate the Situation on the LAC

CPI(M) Polit Bureau has issued the following statement on June 16, 2020

IT is unfortunate that during the de-escalation process on the Line of Actual Control in Ladakh, a clash has taken place at  Galwan valley. This has taken place after the talks between the two sides at a high military level began on June 6 to discuss the process of disengagement. Both sides have reported casualties.

The Polit Bureau of the CPI(M) expresses its deep condolences at the death of an Indian officer and two soldiers.

Cyclone Amphan – A National Calamity

CPI(M)  Polit Bureau has issued the following statement on May 21.

CYCLONE Amphan has caused devastating damage in West Bengal and Odisha. The Polit Bureau of the CPI(M) conveys its deepest condolences to the families of those who have lost their lives.
Relief and rehabilitation are the priority at the moment. The country and the people are already in the midst of a grim struggle for survival combating the Covid pandemic. People in both states urgently
need support and solidarity of the governments and people of the country.

Condemn Criminal Treatment of Migrant Workers

CPI(M) Polit Bureau has issued the following statement on May 8

THE Polit Bureau of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) expresses its deep shock and anguish over the tragic death of 16 migrant workers who were travelling from Jalna in Maharashtra where they were walking to their native place in Sahdol district of Madhya Pradesh. The tragedy took place at 5.30 am this morning when these hapless workers, exhausted as they were, had fallen asleep on the railway track itself.

Remove Section 3C & 3D from the Ordinance

CPI(M)  Polit Bureau has issued the following statement on April 25

THE Polit Bureau of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) welcomes any legal protection so necessary for our health workers in the fight against the pandemic.
However, the ordinance issued by the president of India has certain serious flaws. Section 3 (c) and 3 (d) together violate the principle of common law accepted and followed by all countries in the world
