The Polit Bureau of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) has issued the following statement on April 1, 2021.THE finance minister’s retraction of the announcement made by the government yesterday of drastically  reducing interest rates on small saving schemes does not fool anybody.  It is clear that due to the ongoing assembly elections in five states this decision has been kept on hold.  This is similar to the dictate imposed by the government on oil retailers  to not hike the prices of petroleum products till the elections are over.Crores of people who invest i

The leadership and rank and file of the LDF are confident of making a historic victory through re-election of an incumbent government. As LDF is certain of mobilising the people to victory, the opposition UDF seems aimless and is making false allegations against the government.

The Unnecessary Jargon of EoLI

O DELHIEMahraPahdaradil Shimla, mahradesharadil, o delhie, mahredesharadil Shimla, is a pahari (Mountain) )dialect song sung across the state of Himachal Pradesh since long. Meaning, that “ hey Delhi the heart of the mountains is Shimla, hey Delhi our Nations heart is also Shimla”.So, Shimla is dear to the mountain state of Himachal Pradesh and its people and the town coming on top in the ‘Ease of Living Index’ (EoLI) in the category of ‘less than a million’ cities in the country was extremely stupendous.
