Chhattisgarh: CPI(M) Appeals People to Defeat BJP in the State

THE Communist Party of India (Marxist) has called upon the general public in Chhattisgarh to ensure the defeat of the BJP and the presence of the Left in the state assembly. This will also put a stop to the communal politics of Hindutva and the anti-people politics of alliance with corporates and will focus on the basic issues of the people. The politics of people's struggle will get strengthened.

Over two million people live in this slim section of land on the Mediterranean Sea. Since 1948, the refugees who live here have relied on UN assistance, with the United Nations building an entire agency (UNRWA) in 1949 for that purpose.

Protests against Israel’s Attack on Gaza

AT the call of Left parties – CPI, CPI(M), and CPI(ML), hundreds of people gathered at Freedom Park in Bangalore to protest against the Israel’s bombing on Gaza killing thousands of Palestinians including women and children.Bangalore police had refused permission for the protest. But people gathered defying the police ban and proceeded to hold the demonstration. Police arrested the demonstrators and took them to City Armed Reserve (South) at Adugodi.
