The Central Committee of the Communist Party of India (Marxist), which is meeting from 22-24 May in HKS Surjeet Bhawan, New Delhi, has unanimously adopted the following resolution against US threats to Cuba:

On Alarming Drought Situation

CPI(M) Central Committee held on June 7-9, 2019 in New Delhi adopted the following resolution on June 8THE Central Committee of the Communist Party of India (Marxist), now in session at New Delhi, notes with grave concern that large parts of India have been reeling under severe drought conditions. According to Skymet (private weather monitoring agency) this is the second driest pre-monsoon season in the last 65 years. In 2012, cumulative rainfall deficiency had risen to 31 per cent.

Central Committee Communique

THE Central Committee meeting of CPI(M) being held in Thiruvananthapuram demands the government of India to take immediate steps to  increase the foodgrain quota for the state of Kerala.The state of Kerala through long decades of struggle came to have statutory and universal rationing.
