Yet another Battle for Democracy in West Bengal

YET another battle for defending democracy has started in West Bengal. In the ensuing elections to 91 municipalities and Kolkata Corporation, the ruling party has already launched a campaign of terror. TRIPURA: Left Front Declares the List for the Crucial ADC Elections

ON March 27, the Tripura Left Front Committee announced its list of candidates for the forthcoming elections of the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC), to be held in May. CPI(M) Tripura state secretary, Bijan Dhar released the list at a press conference. Militant Demonstrations against Attack on Students And Raid on CPI(M) office

The Polit Bureau of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) has issued the following statement on March 31, 201.THE appeal against the Allahabad High Court verdict acquitting top BJP and VHP leaders of criminal conspiracy in the demolition of the Babri Masjid is pending before the Supreme Court. The CBI had made the appeal nine months after the High Court verdict of May 2010. The CBI has been lax in pursuing the matter in the Supreme Court. J&K is yet to recover from the earlier devastation. The promised relief and rehabilitation has not yet even begun to reach the people in many parts of the state, particularly in the Kashmir valley.
