KERALA: CPI(M) State Conference Begins

THE 23rd Kerala state conference of the CPI(M) began on March 1, at Comrade B Raghavan Nagar (Marine Drive) in Kochi. The four-day conference from March 1-4, started with senior leader and Party state secretariat member Anathalavattam Anandan hoisting the red flag amidst thundering slogans. 400 delegates and 22 observers and Party workers and sympathizers gathered around the martyrs’ column and paid floral tributes. The inaugural session of the conference was presided over by Party Central Committee member E P Jayarajan.

THE 23rd state conference of the CPI(M) Tripura was held on February 25-26, 2022. The conference gave a clarion call: “Undertake all-out efforts, ideological, political and organisational, to be a competent defender of democracy.”The conference was held following a mammoth rally in Vivekananda Ground on the previous day. The conference started with flag hoisting by Sitaram Yechury, general secretary of the Party. Assam: CPI(M) State Conference Calls for Rejuvenating the Party and the Left

THE 23rd Assam state conference of the CPI(M) was held from February 15-17, at Silchar in Cachar district. It may be noted that after 35 years, a state conference was held in Barak Valley in an enthusiastic atmosphere. 313 delegates and observers from 27 districts participated in the conference. Among the delegates Rishad Bhuyan was the youngest (21 years) and Hemen Das was the oldest (91 years) and 52 were women.The three-day conference was attended by CPI(M) Polit Bureau members Manik Sarkar, Brinda Karat and Nilotpal Basu.
