EARLY in 2020, the leader of Spain’s right-wing party Vox, Santiago Abascal, went to the United States to attend the Conservative Political Action Committee (CPAC) meeting. Abascal came to Washington, DC, along with Iván Espinosa de los Monteros, the deputy secretary of Vox’s international relations department. The two men spent time meeting the leadership of a range of right-wing think tanks, such as the Heritage Foundation and the International Republican Institute. They discussed the need to create a right-wing think tank in Spain and to deepen right-wing internationalism.

THE 23rd Rajasthan state conference of the CPI(M) was held in Sikar from October 31 to November 2, 2021. It began with flag hoisting by Hetram Beniwal, a senior leader of the Party. Manipur State Conference of CPI(M)

THE 19th Manipur state conference of the CPI(M) was held in Imphal on October 30. WELL into the second week of COP26 in Glasgow, Scotland, the climate summit is shrouded in a dense fog of uncertainty, confusion and broken or empty promises, while activists both inside as observers and outside fume and fret in sheer frustration. As the days wind down to the conclusion this weekend, various multi-lateral agreements between voluntary sets of countries which are not binding at the level of the COP, are being pushed and signed.
