Andaman and Nicobar State Conference of CPI(M)

THE 10th Andaman and Nicobar state conference of the Communist Party of India (Marxist)  was held on January  14, 2018 at Fidel Castro Nagar (Shaheed Bhavan, Anarkali), Port Blair.  The conference began with the hoisting of Party flag by Biman Basu, Polit Bureau member of the CPI(M) and chairman of the Left Front of West Bengal and delegates and leaders paying floral tributes to the martyrs at the Martyrs Memorial Column.  P Banerjee, chairman of the reception committee welcomed the leaders and delegates to the conference.

Supreme Court Accepts AIKS Application in Aadhar Act Case

THE All India Kisan Sabha, in a statement issued on January 16, has said that its  application in the Aadhar Case – writ petition (Civil) No 342 of 2017 in the matter of Shanta Sinha and another Vs Union of India and others has been accepted by the Supreme Court with the intervention application number 6666/18 dated January 15, 2018. MAHARASHTRA: AIDWA Celebrates Savitribai Phule Birth Anniversary

ON January 3, 2018, the birth anniversary of the great social reformer and pioneer of women’s education Savitribai Phule, was observed by the AIDWA in various parts of Maharashtra.The largest programme was organised by the AIDWA Thane-Palghar district committee. SCHEME WORKERS ALL INDIA STRIKE: A Strike to Defend the Basic Rights of People
