Railway Accident in Thane: CITU Raises Concern

THE Centre of Indian Trade Unions, in a statement issued on June 10, has  expressed grave concern over the railway accident that occurred in Thane district of Maharashtra on June 9, 2025. The accident took place between the Mumbra and Diwa railway stations, when commuters were travelling on the two local trains moving in opposite directions brushed against each other in which four passengers died and nine were injured. CITU conveys its heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families who lost their dear ones in the accident and wishes speedy recovery of those injured.
