A PACKED auditorium with more than 650 students from southern states of India, reverberated with slogans against communalism and a determined conviction to safeguard the unity of the country The national convention ‘Aman Ka Ailan’ was organised by the Students’ Federation of India in Bangalore on February 17 as part of its nation-wide campaign against communalisation. Presiding over the convention, SFI all India president, VP Sanu said that the BJP has two agendas in our country – economic agenda and cultural agenda. They are hiding their economic agenda with their cultural agenda.

AIDWA Delegation Meets Law Minister on Triple Talaq Bill

A DELEGATION of AIDWA leaders met the law minister on February 8 and submitted a memorandum regarding the Bill of the Muslim Women (Protection of Rights on Marriage) Act, 2017, bringing to his attention the concerns of various women’s organisations and individuals about it.The law minister gave a patient hearing to the views expressed by the delegation and also explained the government’s stand point.

Thrissur All-Set to Hold CPI(M) Kerala State Conference

THRISSUR, the cultural capital of Kerala is all-set to host the state conference of the CPI(M). The delegate session will be attended by 566 delegates (475 elected delegates, 87 state committee members, 4 state committee invitees) and 16 observers representing the Party units across all 14 districts. 31,700 branch conferences, 2,093 local committee conferences, 206 area conferences and 14 district conferences had been held according to schedule.

THE 22nd Congress of the CPI(M) is going to be held at Hyderabad from April 18-22, 2018.1)   Accommodation will be arranged for delegates and observers from the evening of April 17th to April 23rd morning.2)   The venue for the Congress is RTC Kalyana Mandapam, RTC X roads, Baghlingampally, Musheerabad.3)   Public meeting will be held on April 22.4)   There are three Railway Stations at Hyderabad (Secunderabad, Hyderabad-Nampally and Kachiguda). You can get down at any of these stations.

COMRADE MOHD AMIN

CPI(M) Polit Bureau has issued the following statement on February 12, 2018.THE Polit Bureau of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) dips its banner in salute to veteran communist and trade union leader Comrade Mohd. Amin. Comrade Mohd. Amin died this afternoon. He was ninety years old. Mohd. Amin was born in Kolkata to poor parents who had migrated from Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.
