Speaking as the chief guest at a state-level seminar on “Imperialism in the 21st Century – Present Geopolitics,” organized by the CPI(M) Andhra Pradesh State Committee on March 27, Karat said that the military actions of the US and Israel against Iran are unjust and immoral. He said that the United States has been attacking Iran for the past 28 days, while Iran has been resisting with all its might.

DUJ Outraged at UNI Eviction

The Delhi Union of Journalists has expressed outrage at the manhandling of UNI journalists by the Delhi Police on March 20, 2026. The police entered the UNI newsrooms in large numbers and demanded that journalists peacefully working the night shift immediately leave the premises. They were told UNI was being evicted following a High Court Order. No Order was shown.
