A seminar was organized on " Kashmir Files and Communalism" at Chennai on 12.4.22 at Sir P.T. Thyagaraja hall , T Nagar, Chennai 17, on behalf of the Tamilnadu Platform for People's Unity.While speaking in the seminar Mr. YousufTarigami asked the BJP union Government 'what did they achieve after dividing the Jammu and Kashmir into two. After India's independence, considering the future of Jammu and Kashmir , the Constituent Assembly of India has given certain rights for the Kashmiri people through Constitution of India.

As many of you are aware, Kannur has a valiant history of a series of historic struggles by peasants and working class against exploitative class relations that were sought to be protected by the imperial regime in the last century. Kannur is hosting the Party Congress for the first time.
THE 23rd Party Congress of the CPI(M) successfully completed its agenda at Kannur, Kerala from April 6-10, 2022.ISOLATE AND DEFEAT BJPThe Congress asserted its united resolve to “isolate and defeat the BJP” as the central task before the country, people and the Party. During the four years since the 22nd Party Congress, the BJP utilised its government to aggressively further the Hindutva communal agenda of the fascistic RSS.
“THIS is a Congress of Unity, Resolve and Determination”, said the newly elected general secretary of the CPI(M), Sitaram Yechury, in its 23rd Congress at Kannur. Yechury said this while concluding the deliberations of the five-day Party Congress in Kannur. The Congress was held from April 6-10, 2022.
Yechury also narrated the historic role that this region(Kannur) played in the formation of the Communist Party in Kerala. He informed the heroic role of the martyrs of the Malabar region during the freedom movement.
THE 23rd state conference of Tamil Nadu CPI(M) was held in Madurai from March 30 to April 1. A day before the conference on March 29, an exhibition depicting the history of the communist movement was inaugurated by M A Baby, Polit Bureau Member of the Party. Comrade Mythili Sivaraman was the name of the venue for the exhibition.While inaugurating the exhibition, M A Baby said that the idea of equality existed in every era of human history. In India, when we think about the struggles for equality, many will recall places like Bengal and Andhra.

THE Political-Organisational Report of the 23rd Congress was introduced by CPI(M) Polit Bureau member, Prakash Karat in the evening session on April 8, 2022. The Political-Organisational Report deals with the implementation of the political tactical line adopted in the last Party Congress and the review of the organisational tasks decided in the last Congress.
CPI(M) Polit Bureau has issued the following statement on April 12THE communal violence during processions on the occasion of Ram Navami in several states in India – Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Jharkhand etc − are a matter of deep concern. Reports indicate that there is a pattern in the areas where these incidents have occurred with aggressive armed processions using the occasion to shout the most provocative slogans while passing through minority inhabited colonies leading to altercations followed by stone pelting.
APRIL 10, at 2 in the afternoon the delegates assembled outside the venue of the Party Congress, E K Nayanar Academy, to participate in a march to the venue of the public meeting in Kannur.People’s Congress would be the acronym for this Party Congress. Unprecedented in many ways, the core element of this Congress was its people. Not just the delegates who attended it, but the people who surrounded it. Surrounded, yes, there were thousands of homes in the Kannur town and the district that became part and parcel of this Congress.
