EEFI Supports Telangana Electricity Artisans’ Struggle for Regularisation

THE Electricity Employees’ Federation of India (EEFI), in a statement issued on January 20, has congratulated the electricity employees of Telangana for their ongoing struggle to achieve equal status and salaries for artisans in line with regular electricity employees.The electricity artisans of Telangana have been fighting for their conversion to permanent posts under the banner of the Telangana Vidyuth Artisans Conversion (TVAC) Joint Action Committee for a long time.

AS a part of the nationwide protest against the disrespectful and derogatory remarks on Dr B R Ambedkar by the Union Home Minister Amit Shah, meetings and rallies were organised by the Left parties in Tripura on December 30, 2024. The programme was organised jointly by the CPI(M), CPI, AIFB, RSP and CPI(ML). Besides the capital city of Agartala, rallies were organised at places like Udaipur, Belonia, Khowai, Kamalpur, Amarpur, Santir Bazar, Ambassa, Sabroom, Longtarai Valley and Gandachhera.
