Karnataka: CPI(M) State Conference Calls for Building a Left and Democratic Alternative

THE 24th Karnataka State Conference of the CPI(M) was held from December 29-31, 2024, with the slogan “Towards Harmonious, Integral, and Prosperous Karnataka” at the Star Convention Hall, Tumkur. The conference issued a clarion call to build a Left and democratic alternative to challenge the bipolar polity between the Congress and the NDA, into which Karnataka has slipped, with the JD(S) joining the BJP-led NDA.On the morning of December 29, a big, colourful procession was held from Freedom Square to Town Hall.

Uttar Pradesh State Conference of CPI(M)

THE 24th Uttar Pradesh state conference of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) was held from December 29-31, 2024 at Bulandshahr with the resolve to build a revolutionary communist party with a strong mass base in Uttar Pradesh.The comrades of Bulandshahr had made elaborate preparations for the conference; the entire city was decorated with red flags and four-month long campaign for the conference and rally was conducted in 300 villages.The venue of the conference was named after our beloved leader Comrade Sitaram Yechury, the meeting stage was named after former MLA Comrade Dinanath Sin

Uttarakhand State Conference of CPI(M)

THE Eighth State Conference of Uttarakhand committee of CPI(M) was held at Karnaprayag from December 22-24, 2024. The conference began with an impressive rally and a well-attended public meeting. In total, 22 members of the state committee, 142 delegates and 13 observers attended the conference which also included 23 women delegates. State secretaries of CPI and CPI(ML) greeted the conference. On behalf of the Central Committee of the Party, Polit Bureau member Tapan Sen and Central Committee member Vijoo Krishnan attended the conference.

Madhya Pradesh State Conference of CPI(M)

THE 17th State Conference of CPI(M) Madhya Pradesh was held from December 15-17 in the town of Mhow in Indore district. The conference was hosted by the smallest unit of the Party in Madhya Pradesh, where the majority of members are tribal and landless agricultural workers. Despite the fact that a large portion of its ranks often migrates elsewhere in search of work, the unit successfully organised this conference.

Chhattisgarh:CPI(M) State Conference Resolves to Strengthen Organisation and Movement

THE Eighth Chhattisgarh State Conference of CPI(M) was held on December 19-20, 2024 in in Vishrampur, a coal-belt area in the tribal region of Surajpur district. The venue was named as Sitaram Yechury Nagar and Buddhadeb Bhattacharya-Basudev Acharya Manch. The conference began with the hoisting of the Party flag by Gajendra Jha, the oldest delegate at 83 years of age, followed by floral tributes at the martyr's column.The conference was presided over by a three-member presidium comprising Rishi Gupta, S C Bhattacharya, and R V Bharati.

Punjab State Conference of CPI(M)

THE 24th CPI(M) State Conference of Punjab was held at Desh Bhagat Yaadgar Hall, Jalandhar, on December 9-10, 2024. The conference began with the flag hoisting by the senior-most delegate, Sital Singh Sangha and paying of tributes at the Martyrs' Column.A presidium comprising Major Singh Bhikhiwind, Gurdarshan Singh Khaspur, Abdul Sattar, Parshotam Lal Bilga, and Harpreet Kaur Chabal conducted the proceedings of the conference. A total of 239 delegates and observers participated in the conference.
