THE state committee of CPI(M) in Rajasthan strongly condemned the brutal and barbaric murder of a tailor by slitting his throat in Udaipur city. The Party stated that this incident is an embarrassment to humanity. There seems to be a planned motive of communal anti-social elements behind doing such a dastardly act and then making it viral on social media. The motive of these killers is to promote communal hatred by destroying the social harmony of the state.

The CPI(M) appealed to the people of the state to maintain peace and harmony. The people of Rajasthan who like peace and tranquillity will not allow the nefarious designs of the enemies of communal harmony and brotherhood to succeed at all, the Party press release stated.

The Party demanded the harshest punishment for the culprits of this horrific barbaric act and proper compensation to the victim's family.

The CPI(M) asked the state government to keep a constant watch on the activities of communal sectarian organisations, and individuals while keeping the law and order and intelligence agencies of the state alert.

A disgusting campaign of communal polarisation is being run continuously in the society by the communal sectarian forces through social media and other activities, the CPI(M) stated. Especially in the minds of children and youth, the poison of hatred is being mixed which comes in the form of such inhuman incidents in the society. Therefore, there is a need for the government to take strict action in time against the elements spreading all kinds of communal sectarian hatred, the Party asserted.
