THE All India Kisan Sabha has organised a condolence meeting on January 4, 2016 to pay tributes to Comrade Noorul Huda at the AIKS central office, in New Delhi.  The meeting was presided over by S Ramachandran Pillai, vice president of AIKS. Hannan Mollah, general secretary of AIKS, Suneet Chopra, joint secretary of AIAWU, PMS Grewal, Delhi CPI(M), Swadesh Devroye, national secretary of CITU, Sivadasan, SFI president, Maimoona Mollah, AIDWA, Nathu Prasad, Dalit Shoshan Mukti Manch spoke on the occasion remembering the contributions of Com Noorul Huda. They detailed his contributions to the peasant movement, working class, as a parliamentarian and as a leader of the CPI(M).

Vijoo Krishnan, joint secretary of AIKS moved a condolence resolution. Tapan Sen, general secretary, CITU, NK Shukla, joint secretary, AIKS, Ranjana Narula, treasurer, CITU, AR Sindhu, national secretary, CITU, Vikram Singh, joint secretary, SFI, Sunand, secretary, Delhi, SFI, Asha Sharma and Anju Jha, AIDWA, Nidheesh, SFI, RC Yadav, AIKS, Babu Mohan, AIAWU and many others were present. Floral tributes were paid to Com Noorul Huda and a minute’s silence was observed in his memory. The meeting resolved to carry forward his struggle and learn lessons from his inspiring life.
