Resolution on Martyrs
The 21st Congress of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) dips its red banner in memory of the martyrs who laid down their lives fighting for the cause of the working class and democratic movement during the past three years since the 20th Congress.
The 21st Congress pays glorious tributes to the 99 members and supporters of the Party and mass organisations who were killed by the TMC goons and other reactionary forces in West Bengal. Two members of the RSP also laid down their lives.
The 21st Congress of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) pays respectful homage to the memory of 20 members and supporters of the Party and mass organisations in Kerala who were killed by political and class enemies.
The 21st Congress salutes the memory of 4 comrades from Tripura who laid down their lives fighting against the class and political enemies of the Party.
The 21st Congress pays homage to the one comrade killed in Ranchi, Jharkhand who was killed by landlords men.
The 21st Congress pays homage to all those killed by the reactionary, communal and obscurantist forces for standing up courageously for their values.
The Communist Party of India (Marxist) will always cherish the memory of these martyrs. It pledges to continue the fight to fulfill their unfinished tasks.
