The INDIA Bloc met on September 30, to discuss about the situation arising after the expose on the role of the Chief Election Commissioner in the functioning of the Election Commission of India and the entire SIR process, how they were used to influence the electoral process. 

All the participants of the INDIA Bloc meeting decided to conduct joint protests demanding the resignation of the CEC and immediate scrapping of the SIR, following the Supreme Court guidelines in the appointment of the ECs.

The programmes decided are:
· Protest rallies in all the districts between October 2-8, 2026.
· March of the Members of Parliament to the Election Commission office on October 6, 2026.
· Huge rallies in 4-5 cities across the country.
· Rally in Delhi on November 1.
