The All-India Convention of the Samyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM) – the largest umbrella platform of kisan organisations representing all the states and union territories of India—was successfully held on July 28, 2026, in New Delhi. Over 1200 delegates from states across the country attended and adopted a Declaration, which called for a decisive mass struggle based on worker-peasant unity against the chronic agrarian crisis of more than three decades.

CPI(M) Member of Parliament V Sivadasan has written to the Prime Minister seeking accountability over contradictory replies furnished by the Ministry of Education in Parliament regarding the expenditure of the National Testing Agency (NTA).

The NTA has emerged as one of the central issues in the ongoing student movement across the country. At a time when students are demanding transparency and accountability, it is deeply concerning that the Ministry of Education has furnished such contradictory replies in Parliament.

Call of CITU's Ranchi Working Committee Meeting: March with Renewed Zeal to Transform Society

THE CITU Working Committee met on 17–19 July 2026 at Comrade Debanjan Chakraborty Manch (CMPDI Hall) and Comrade Bishnu Mohanty Nagar (Ranchi), six and a half months after the 18th Conference (31 December 2025–4 January 2026). While the Conference's theoretical propositions have only been strengthened since then, the practical situation has thrown up entirely new challenges, making this meeting particularly important.
