On Januar 27, the Polit Bureau of the CPI(M) has issued the following statement:THE Polit Bureau strongly condemns the death threat issued in Karnataka against several prominent personalities. The list put out includes Brinda Karat, Polit Bureau member of the CPI(M), actor Prakash Raj, Swami Nijagunananda, former chief minister, H D Kumaraswami and 11 others.This is a serious matter and the Karnataka government should immediately investigate who is behind this threat letter and take swift action.
