IN a statement issued from New Delhi on June 6, the All India Democratic Women’s Association (AIDWA) strongly condemned the remark reportedly made by the home minister of Madhya Pradesh, Babulal Gaur, a day before. THE Haryana state unit of the CPI(M) has condemned in strong words the incidents of communal violence perpetrated on June 8 in Taoru town of Mewat district, following a road accident in which a youth was killed.
The CPI(M) Telangana state committee gave a call to all its members to undertake the following pledge on the occasion of formation of Telangana state on 2 June. ON June 11, hundreds of students across Tamilnadu staged protest actions in front of district educational offices demanding proper implementation of the Right to Education Act (RTE Act) in the state. The Students Federation of India organised these actions.
