HP: Statewide Campaign for Peace and Harmony

HIMACHAL Pradesh has always been known for its social standards in education, healthcare, and employment, and has symbolised brotherhood, peace, and communal harmony. The people of this region have consistently upheld constitutional and democratic values. The Indian Constitution envisions secularism, granting equal rights to all religions and ensuring no discrimination against any citizen. However, recent incidents of planned communal violence have tarnished the state's image.

WB: Hundred Days Since Abhaya's Death-Calls for Justice and Healthcare Reforms Intensify

“NINETY days have passed since August 9. Ninety days of rage, ninety days of resilience. Ninety days since the brutal rape and murder of Dr Abhaya-Tilottama at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital ignited a fire in our hearts. Kings Park no longer survives merely with the patronage of the British King, who continues to claim sovereignty over Australia. It is now named Rio Tinto Kings Park, needing the corporate profits from this enormous mining company to sustain its charms.

In capitalism, the worker is subject to the condition of production where the worker is alienated from the means of production, the process of production and the outcomes of productive process. This is articulated through the crude division between mental and physical labour and the worker is supposed to follow the rules of capital relations which naturalises this separation.
