Dada Amir Haider Khan: An Intrepid Revolutionary

DADA Amir Haider Khan was one of the legendary versatile worker revolutionaries of the Indian sub-continent. He fought against British colonialism to liberate our country from foreign domination. He mobilised and organised workers and peasants for their rights and for the attainment of a class-less society. He devoted his entire life for building the communist movement. His commitment to proletarian revolution, his determination and steadfastness in serving the peoples’ cause in spite of repression, incarceration and untold difficulties for over seven and half decades was unmatched.

Statement on Release of NSSO Consumption Survey Data

Tribals & Traditional Forest Dwellers Demand Upholding the FRA

ON November 21, on the nationwide call of the Bhumi Adhikar Andolon (land rights movement), thousands of  tribals and other traditional forest dwellers from across the country assembled at New Delhi’s Jantar Mantar. Comrade Partho Kar is no more

AGED 70 years, Comrade Partho Kar died on November 22 in NRS Hospital in Kolkatta. Comrade Partho was suffering from cancer, which was detected quite late. He was associated with Party publication and Party papers for a long time.In 1978 Comrade Partho Kar came from Jamshedpur, Jharkhand (then in Bihar) as a whole timer to work in the central office of the kisan sabha. In 1979 the Hindi paper of the Party-Loklehar started publication of which he was assigned managerial responsibilities. He worked till 2001 in Loklehar/People’s Democracy managerial office.
