Delhi: CPI(M) Demands Action on Hate Speakers

The CPI(M) Delhi state committee, in a statement issued on October 10, has strongly condemned the West Delhi BJP MP Parvesh Verma’s act of calling for ‘total boycott’ of the Muslim community at a meeting organised by the VHP on October 9. He openly exhorted the audience not to buy anything from Muslims and not to pay them wages. Adding further fuel to the fire, the VHP joint secretary Surendra Jain accused one community (read Muslims) of trying to turn Delhi into a mini Pakistan.

AP: Fulfill the Promises Made to the People

A ROUND table meeting organised at the initiative of CPI(M) Andhra Pradesh state committee demanded the BJP-led central government to fulfill the promises made to the state and to implement the State Re-organisation Act.The meeting was chaired by P Madhu, a former member of parliament who appealed the ruling YSRCP and the main opposition TDP to decide whether they would fight for the state interests or would continue to follow the dictates of the BJP. If they continue to go along with the BJP, they have to face the ire of people, speakers warned.

MP: AIKS Holds its State Conference

THE AIKS Madhya Pradesh state conference was held at Rayru village in Gwalior district from September 23-25, 2022. It was attended by 198 delegates from 15 districts. They included several adivasi, dalit, women and youth peasants. The average age of the delegation was 50 years, which reflects activities in kisan andolan and its consolidation. It was an enthusiastic and fruitful conference. It was inaugurated by AIKS vice president Amra Ram, who outlined the challenges before the peasantry today, and the disastrous policies of the BJP-led central government which must be fought.

AP: AIDWA Conference Flags Declining Security for Women

A COLOURFUL dharna followed by a rally was held at Bhubaneswar on September 28, outside the state assembly, culminating 'September campaign', a call given by the Party.Coming from various parts of the state with red flags, banners and placards shouting slogans the protesters joined the dharna.
