The LDF Government's Industrial Development Policy aims to transform Kerala into a leading industrial centre in the country. It focuses on major projects such as 200 Global Capability Centres across the state, the Vizhinjam–Kollam–Punalur Growth Triangle on 1,700 acres, the Kochi Global City Project on 358 acres, a Skill Development and Entrepreneurship University in a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model, and a Mega Food Processing Park in Kollam.

The policy was presented by Minister P. Rajeev at the 'Vision 2031' Industrial Development Seminar, which aims to make Kerala a developed state by 2031. The presentation was part of planning future development goals for 2031, when the state completes 75 years of its formation.

The Vizhinjam Development Corridor will develop the Vizhinjam port area into a global economic hub. The Vizhinjam–Kollam–Punalur Growth Triangle is part of developing a port-based smart industrial economic ecosystem. The 200 Global Capability Centers are intended to make the state a global destination for high-tech centres.

A Skill Development and Entrepreneurship University will be established in a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model to equip the state's youth for future industrial needs. The Kochi Global City Project on 358 acres is part of the Kochi-Bengaluru Industrial Corridor. This will create 1.20 lakh direct jobs and 3.6 lakh indirect jobs.

An Aero-Defence and Drone Industrial Cluster will be established in Thiruvananthapuram near VSSC and ISRO. As part of the Kozhikode-Malappuram Industrial Cluster, a Biotech and Life Sciences Campus and an ESDM (Electronics System Design and Manufacturing) and Power Electronics Campus will be set up.

The multi-sectoral mega project Arena Malabar will combine sports, industry, and healthcare. The Kannur–Kasaragod Industrial Corridor is also envisioned for the Fintech, ITES (IT Enabled Services), AI & Robotics, Handloom, and Logistics sectors.

The implementation of a Mega Food Processing Park in Kollam, a Maritime and Marine Park in Alappuzha, a Medical Biotech Hub on 500 acres in Thiruvananthapuram, and a Small-Scale Industry City on 2,000 acres in Kottayam is planned. A Robotics Park and a Gem and Jewellery Park will be established in Thrissur. Also planned are a Wayanad Coffee Park and a Palakkad Graphene Aurora Park.

The policy plans to make the Green Hydrogen Valley Project in Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram operational by 2031.
