Tulasidas

THE Andhra Pradesh committee of the CPI(M) has held three bus jathas to propagate its political line, expose the misrule of BJP and appeal the ruling YSRCP, opposition TDP and Janasena to come out of the clutches of harmful BJP.

The three jathas traversed through different terrains and diverse areas and simultaneously covered all the 26 districts in the state in ten days. They took off from different corners of the state and culminated at the state capital.

A huge rally and public meeting are scheduled on November 15, at Vijayawada to conclude the campaign.

Leaders from all India centre participated in the jathas and addressed the gatherings. The concluding rally will be addressed by Sitaram Yechury, CPI(M) general secretary and B V Raghavulu, Polit Bureau member and by the state leadership.

The fortnight-long campaign is named as ‘Praja Rakshana Bheri.’ Details of the campaign were chalked out in the Party state committee held on October 16, and in the district committees later.

ATTACK ON LAWS FOR TRIBALS
Addressing the gatherings at Kurupam and Parvatipuram, B V Raghavulu explained how the BJP central government has been crushing the tribal laws and doling out the mines, forests and forest produce to the corporates. The constitutional protections and many statutory benefits under Forest Rights Act and Forest conservation Act etc., are being wiped out by the Modi government, he said. Every tribal family should be allotted ten acres of forest land, but the governments have been taking back the lands from tribals in the name of projects, highways etc. Tribal people should oppose these policies, he appealed. He criticised the ruling YSRCP and the opposition TDP, and the Janasena party in the state for supporting the BJP in all respects. He appealed to them to come out of the clutches of the communal BJP that harms the interests of the tribals as well as of the state. Otherwise, the people will teach them a lesson in the coming days, he said.
