KERALA ASSEMBLY ELECTIONS: CPI(M) Announces Three More Candidates

CPI(M) had announced the names of three more candidates for the upcoming Kerala assembly elections. A list of 83 candidates was already announced by A Vijayaraghavan, CPI(M) state secretary in-charge on March 10, which was published in the last issue of People’s Democracy . Candidates for Manjeshwaram and Devikulam – V V Rameshan and A Raja – have been announced now. Meanwhile Kerala Congress (M) has withdrawn its candidate for Kuttiady and the seat was handed over to the CPI(M). K P Kunjammad Kutti is the candidate for this seat.
SFI all India president V P Sanu will contest in the by-election to the Malappuram Lok Sabha constituency. The election for Malappuram was necessitated as Muslim League leader P K Kunjali Kutti had resigned to contest for assembly elections.
