Haryana: Police Action on Farmers in Karnal village Condemned
Inderjit Singh
THE Haryana chapter of All India Kisan Sangharsh Co-ordination Committee(AIKSCC) has condemned the police action on farmers who had assembled to peacefully register their opposition to a bogus mahapanchayat at Kaimla village of Karnal in support of anti-farmer laws being imposed in dictatorial way by the Modi regime. The police let loose terror on January 10.
According to the AIKSCC , the chief minister of Haryana owes an explanation for the entire episode, which was a motivated move to create a law and order situation to defame the unprecedent and most peaceful movement of the farmers.
AIKSCC has warned the BJP governments at the centre and the state to desist from resorting to provocative and divisive politics and rather repeal the three draconian laws, which have found no takers anywhere across the country .
AIKSCC has called upon all sections of the people in Haryana to observe the series of actions till January 26, as announced by the Samyukta Kisan Morcha, a national level platform of more than 500 organisations, which is spearheading the ongoing movement . These include Sankalp Divas on Makar Sankranti / Lohri on January 13, Mahila Kisan Divas on January 18, Subhash Chandra Bose jayanti on January 23 as Kisan Gaurav Divas .
Kisan jhankis will be taken out to mark the Republic Day on January 26, after the official celebrations are over .
