Section 144 of the CrPC still remains imposed throughout the state, and the terror of Yogi government continues to be unleashed. Yogi Adityanath, in his all pronouncements has blamed Left and Congress for each and every protest action, which took place in UP against CAA, NPR and NRC. Though, some of the women had tried to organise a dharna on January 23 at Beniabagh, Varanasi, who were not linked with the Left parties, yet the SSP of Varanasi issued a press statement saying that Left and Congress had financed them to hold dharnas. The Left Parties criticised the statement of the SSP.
