In any tough situation, CITU stood to safeguard the interests of working class, he explained. Speaking on this occasion, M A Gafoor, state general secretary of CITU, said that the organisation(CITU) has been spearheading the united struggles of working class all over India. He stressed the need of the working class unity and to turn down the machinations of ‘sangha parivar’ and its various organisations to divide the people on communal and casteist lines. Gafoor said that the neo-liberal policies are to be fought back tooth and nail.
