Election Campaign in Telangana
Kambhampati Sarma
CPI(M) Polit Bureau member, B V Raghavulu said that both the TRS and the BJP governments are working against the tribals and are putting them in difficulties. He further said that the people of the country need a ruler who safeguards their interests and not a chowkidar who works for the benefit of the corporates. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is chowkidar only for Ambanis and Adanis. He is using the name of the armed forces in the election campaign, which is most dangerous. He made these comments in public meetings in support of B Venkat, CPI(M) candidate contesting from the Khammam parliament seat. B V Raghvulu also participated in election rallies of CPI candidate from Mahabubabad parliament constituency on April 4.
People who for the sake of positions and contracts do opportunist politics are not qualified to criticise communists, retorted CPI(M ) state secretary, T Veerabhadram. If elected as MP of Khammam, B Venkat said that he will work with commitment for the solution of problems of the people and the region.
