CPI(M)  Polit Bureau has issued the following statement on December 17

THE Polit Bureau of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) welcomes the sentencing of Sajjan Kumar, one of the accused in the 1984 massacre of Sikhs in Delhi. The law has taken thirty-four long years to finally catch up and deliver justice.

The Polit Bureau demands that all victims of communal violence whether they are from 1984, 2002 or other such incidents should get justice. Political leaders who led, backed and shielded the mobs must be brought to justice.
