SFI Condemns Murderous Attacks on its Activists in Kerala

THE central executive committee of the Students’ Federation of India, in a statement issued on December 29, 2017 has condemned the murderous attacks on SFI activists yesterday in Pathanamthitta district, Kerala.

Multiple incidents of RSS attack on SFI and Left activists are reported from Kerala. Yesterday two SFI activists were subjected to murderous attacks in Pathanamthitta district and two Left activists were also injured in Kannur and Thiruvananthapuram respectively in the last one day.  Sandeep, joint secretary of SFI Pathanamthitta district committee and Shafeeq, area joint secretary of SFI were attacked by the RSS and ABVP criminals on their way back to home yesterday. RSS attacked them with swords and iron rods. Both comrades were severely injured and admitted to a hospital in serious conditions. They suffered deep injuries on heads and various others parts.

In the recent time, the RSS and their political wing, BJP have launched Goebbels style propaganda against the Left with the help of corporate media. But in reality, the RSS wants to destabilise the peaceful environment of Kerala through attacking Left-progressive people of Kerala.

The central executive committee of SFI condemns the continuous attack on SFI activists and Left activists in Kerala and calls upon all its units across the country to rise up against the brutal attacks of RSS.
