THE Delhi state committee of the CPI(M) had organised a dharna at Jantar Mantar on June 11 against the nefarious designs towards fresh communal polarisation in Dadri. Hundreds of people participated in this dharna. KM Tiwari, secretary of the Delhi state committee of the CPI(M) addressing the dharna said that Hindutva forces are trying to communally polarise the entire Western Uttar Pradesh over the alleged ‘beef consumption’. This poisonous strategy is being used at a time when assembly elections in the state are round the corner. One of the ministers of Modi government, Sanjeev Balyan has given a shocking statement that probe should be held to find out who all consumed beef in the Bisara village. Besides this, the top leadership of BJP in the area including Sangeet Som and Mahesh Sharma are also involved in this conspiracy. SR Bhati, Virendra Gaur, Brijesh Singh, Rampal, Sehba Farooqui, Nathu Prasad, Jagdish Chand Sharma, Rajeev Kunwar, Gangeshwar Dutt Sharma, Neelgagan Singh and Prashant Mukherjee also addressed the dharna. They demanded that central ministers like Sanjeev Baliyan and Mahesh Sharma should be immediately sacked and police action should be taken against Sangeet Som, Sanjeev Baliyan and Mahesh Sharma.
