DYFI Organises Hindi School in Chandigarh

THE Democratic Youth Federation of India has organised an all India political school for Hindi speaking states in Chandigarh from November 1-3, 2014. 112 delegates participated in the political school. Sitaram Yechury, CPI(M) Polit Bureau member inaugurated the classes. MB Rajesh, DYFI president presided over the classes. Avoy Mukherjee, general secretary welcomed the delegates. Sitaram Yechury took the class on political economy. The second day, Nilotpal Basu gave his presentation on economy and political agenda of the Modi government. On November 3, Hannan Mollah, DYFI founder general secretary took class on present situation, attack on Left and the task of the youth. All the sessions were very interactive in nature and were helpful for the delegates. On November 3, the foundation day of DYFI, there was a flag hoisting ceremony at the premises of the venue. Preethy Sekhar hoisted the white flag of the DYFI amid slogans of “DYFI Zindabad.” MB Rajesh presented a note on organisation and the delegates undertook a thorough discussion based on the note. On the last day, Avoy Mukherjee summed up the discussion. The newly designed DYFI Website was also inaugurated by Sitaram Yechury. Facebook page, Youtube Channel etc., have also been launched. The CEC of the DYFI also met on the sidelines of the class. The DYFI will organise a country wide campaign on the anti-people anti-youth economic policies of the Modi government. The government recently issued a circular banning all fresh recruitments. DYFI will hold protest programmes throughout the country against this decision.” From December 16-22, a week-long campaign against the atrocities on women will be held. DYFI will organise night assemblies, street corner meetings and other programmes in connection with this campaign. A country wide campaign against communalism will be held in the month of January.
