Reception Committee for the 21st Congress of CPI(M) Formed

THE 21st Congress of the CPI(M) will be held at Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh from April 14-19, 2015. To make this conference a resounding success, a reception committee with 70 members from both states – Andhra Pradesh and Telangana – was formed at Vijayawada with Paturi Ramaiah as honourary president, P Madhu as president, Ch Narasinga Rao as general secretary, S Punyavathi as treasurer, BV Raghavulu, Tammineni Veerabhadhram, V Sreenivasa Rao, MA Gaffur, Mallu Swarajyam, S Veeraiah, MVS Sarma as vice presidents, and Y Venkateswara Rao, V Krishnaiah, Dr Midiam Babu Rao as secretaries and K Lokanadham and B Ganga Rao as organising secretaries along with another 54 members were elected at Vijayawada on November 6, 2014. Addressing a press meet held at the AP state committee office of the CPI(M) in Vijyawada, BV Raghavulu said that according to the decision of the Central Committee, the 21st Congress of the CPI(M)will be held at Visakhapatnam, the largest working class area in the state. The political line of the Party will be discussed at length in the congress and the future political line will be evolved. In the last 20 years, many changes have come up in all sectors in the country and the impacts of the changes are being studied. The strengthening of mass organisations will be discussed in the coming congress. Along with BV Raghavulu, Paturi Ramaiah, P Madhu, Ch Narasinga Rao were present in the press meet.
