HARYANA: CPI(M) Releases the List of Candidates for Assembly Elections

THE Haryana state unit of CPI(M) on September 20 released its manifesto and the list of Party candidates for the upcoming assembly elections. The manifesto named as Jan Sankalp has severely condemned the ruling political parties for indulging opportunist political defections.

  The CPI(M) manifesto has emphasised the need to reverse the neo- liberal policy regime.

It has promised the implementation of  the Sawaminathan Commission recommendations,comprehensive legislation for the rights of agriculture labourers, ban on reckless land acquisition, distribution of surplus land to landless, reservation in private sector for the SCs, implementation of Ranganath Commission recommendations for the minorities, elections for the students unions, 33 per cent reservation for women in legislatures, pro-people housing policy, Rs 15000 as minimum wage, regularisation of the non-regular workers, old age pensions, pensions to widows, physically disabled etc equal to half the minimum wage or Rs 4000. The CPI(M) would work for an effective Lokayukta

The CPI(M) has given a call to the people to defeat the Congress, reject the communal  BJP, discard castiest and opportunist politics and elect CPI(M), Left and other progressive and honest candidates. It has also reiterated its appeal to the AAP party seeking its support for a common fight against corruption and cleansing of politics.
