On Januar 27, the Polit Bureau of the CPI(M) has issued the following statement:
THE Polit Bureau strongly condemns the death threat issued in Karnataka against several prominent personalities. The list put out includes Brinda Karat, Polit Bureau member of the CPI(M), actor Prakash Raj, Swami Nijagunananda, former chief minister, H D Kumaraswami and 11 others.
This is a serious matter and the Karnataka government should immediately investigate who is behind this threat letter and take swift action.
THE Dutt-Bradley Thesis was published in International Press Correspondence (INPRECOR), the journal of Communist International, on February 29, 1936. It was also called the thesis for Anti-imperialist People's Front in India. This Thesis was published in the background of significant international and national developments. UPON the culmination of the 16th All India Conference of CITU, a mammoth rally was taken out from Saidapet Metro to Singaravelar Thidal (YMCA, Nandanam) along the Anna Salai. ON January 29, 2020, Brinda Karat, Polit Bureau member of the CPI(M) and K M Tewari, state secretary of the Delhi CPI(M) lodged a police complaint with Amulya Patnaik, the Delhi police commissioner against Anurag Thakur, union minister of state for finance and Parvesh Verma, a MP from Delhi for inciting communal enmity and extending threats by making statements that are perjudicial to national integration. Both the leaders demanded registration of an FIR against the two.
MARXISM teaches us that every totality is composed of elements which are different and hence among whom there are contradictions. Even when the totality is conceptualized as a totality, there must be an implicit awareness of these contradictions.
