TN: Fifth Edition of Theekkathir launched at Nellai

IN order to take the message of the Left and democratic forces of Tamil Nadu to the people of the southern-most districts in the state, the fifth edition of Theekkathir was launched from Tirunelveli (Nellai) on September 22. CPI(M) Polit Bureau member Prakash Karat inaugurated the edition. This edition is aimed to serve the people of Tirunelveli, Thenkasi, Thoothukudi and Kanyakumari districts.

Bihar: CPI(M) Holds Political Training Camp

THE state committee of the CPI(M) organised a three-day political camp from September 19-21, in the scenic town of Rajgir, a town with historical significance as the seat of the Magadh empire and pivotal in Jain and Buddhist religions. Rajgir is renowned for its association with the ancient Nalanda University and other historical movements. Today, it has transformed into a modern tourist destination, surrounded by hills and lush greenery.

THE Telangana Peasants Armed Struggle anniversary was successfully observed throughout the state from September 10 to 17. Rallies were organised from martyrs' stupas in some districts. CPI(M) Polit Bureau members Brinda Karat and BV Raghavulu, state secretary T Veerabhadram and other secretariat and state committee members addressed meetings at various places in the state on the occasion.
