5th Chhattisgarh State Conference Calls for Intensified Fight against RSS-BJP Combine

THE 5TH Chhattisgarh state conference of CPI(M) was held successfully from March 15 to March 17 in the Steel City of Bhilai. The conference gave a call to intensify movements on issues facing the people on their day-to-day lives, build struggle on the question of land, fight against the communal agenda of the ruling party both in the state and at the Centre, and to make the Party capable of becoming a power to intervene actively in issues concerning the people.

14th Haryana State Conference Concludes With a Call for Sustained Struggles

THE 14th Haryana state conference of the CPI(M) held from February 14-16 concluded with a clarion call to launch a decisive movement to end miseries of toiling masses and to strengthen the Party as a major  political force in the state. Newly elected state secretary Surender Singh Malik asked the rank and file of the Party to go to the people at grass root level and organise them against economic exploitation and social oppression. “Our struggle should focus on concrete solutions to the burning problems of rural and urban poor, youth, students, women, dalits and minorities,” he said.

Bihar Conference Concludes with Call to Strengthen Organisation

THE 21st conference of CPI(M) Bihar state committee was held from February 5-7 in Bettiah, the district headquarter of West Champaran, in the background of the prevailing political crisis in the state. The conference reviewed its last three years’ activities among the toiling masses of Bihar, and discussed the approach regarding political and organisational matters in the background of evolving national scenario in general and the concrete situation prevailing in Bihar in particular.

HARYANA: Launch Decisive Struggles to Fight Pro-Corporate, Communal Modi Govt: Karat

Ignite the Crucible of Mass Struggles for a Peoples' Alternative

THE 24th conference of the Andhra Pradesh unit of the CPI(M), the first after bifurcation of the united Andhra Pradesh state, was held on February 8-9, 2015 at Vijayawada. Vijayawada has a long and glorious history of communist movement and this is the seventh time that the state conference of the Party is being held here. Holding aloft this great tradition, Vijayawada wore a festive look with red flags, banners and slogans everywhere.

Gujarat CPI (M) Holds 21st State Conference

THE 21st state  conference of the  CPI(M) was held on January 24-25 at  Modasa (of  newly  created Arvalli district). It began with the hoisting of Party flag by Gujarat’s senior most leader, Subodh Mehta. The conference began with a rally in the morning of January 24. The rally  started  from  market   yard and terminated  in  huge  public  meeting  at  Modasa  Char Rasta. The public meeting was presided over by Subodh Mehta. The reception committee chairman Katabhai Raval greeted the people on the dais with flowers. Pragajibhai Bhambhi delivered the welcome speech.

Andaman & Nicobar State Conference of CPI (M) Held

THE ninth state conference of the CPI(M), Andaman and Nicobar unit held in Port Blair on January 4, has decided to re-activate the Party in the islands and intensify the fight against the anti-people policies of the BJP-led government at the centre. The conference was held at the Shaheed Bhavan, the CPI(M) state committee office, in Port Blair. The conference passed a resolution demanding establishment of a legislative assembly for the Andaman and Nicobar islands in order to fulfill the aspirations of the islanders.
