An LDF rally in Trivandrum on December 3 was led by Kodiyeri Balakrishnan, deputy leader of the opposition in Kerala assembly and secretary, CPI(M) Kerala, demanding immediate resignation of the chief minister of the state, Oommen Chandy. V S Achuthanandan, leader of the opposition, Kerala, MA Baby, Polit Bureau Member of the CPI(M) and Vaikom Viswan, convener of the LDF, Kerala also participated in the march. On December 2, the main accused in the solar case, Biju Radhakrishnan had revealed before the Solar Case Fact-finding Commission that chief minister Oommen Chandy had received five and half crores of rupees as bribe.
