CONTROL THIS GALLOPING PRICE RISE

THE unabated galloping price rise is imposing unprecedented burdens on the people. Crores of people are suffering and are pushed into poverty with growing hunger pangs. Coming on top of unprecedented levels of unemployment, this is compounding people’s miseries.

CPI(M) Polit Bureau met at New Delhi on November 13-14, 2021. It has issued the following statement on November 14.

MOCKERY OF REDUCTION IN PETROL AND DIESEL PRICES

The cut in central excise duty of Rs 5 per litre for petrol and Rs 10 per litre for diesel provides no relief to the people who are suffering from the growing burden of higher prices of petroleum production.
