UNABATED COVID UPSURGE
THE upsurge of the pandemic continues to take a heavy toll of human life all across the country. The Polit Bureau expresses its grief at these avoidable deaths and conveys condolences to the families of all those who have lost their lives.

HAIL KERALA VICTORY

The Polit Bureau hailed the victory of the LDF in the local body elections in Kerala and saluted the people of Kerala for once again reposing their faith in the LDF.

Release All Political Prisoners

CPI(M)  Polit Bureau has issued the following statement on July 13

THE Polit Bureau of the CPI(M) expresses grave concern over the deteriorating health condition of several jailed political and human rights activists. Some of them have been reported to have contracted Covid-19 in jail. The deplorable conditions in the overcrowded jails, which lack even basic facilities has contributed immensely to their deteriorating health condition. Many of them have co-morbidities and have been on medications since long.

Polit Bureau Communique: All India Protest Day on June 16


The Polit Bureau of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) held its first meeting through video conferencing on June 2, 2020. It has issued the following statement on June 3.

In the current situation where millions have been rendered unemployed and heart rending experiences of hungry migrant workers on the roads marching back home, the PB has called for an all India protest day on June 16.
