CPI(M) Campaign Gets Good Response in Hisar

Brinda Karat said that health, education, transport sectors are being privatised and a very large number of poor people are becoming indebted due to expensive treatment in private hospitals. Thousands of posts in government services are lying vacant. She blamed the Hooda government for destroying jobs on the one hand while claiming credit for reservation for a particular community on the other. Some NREGA women workers present reported that they were not being paid full wages for the work done under the programme. She pointed out that BJP was also following the same disastrous economic policies. It is only the CPI(M) and the Left who actually mean to work for the benefit of downtrodden sections including peasantry, unorganised workers and deprived sections including majority of women, dalits and minorities. It is therefore imperative for these sections to rise above caste and religion and elect the candidates of the CPI(M). Others who also addressed the meeting included state secretary Inderjit Singh, Surender Malik, Suresh Kumar and Jagmati Sangwan.
